Brahmavihara-Arama

Lokasi/Location : Bulelelng, Bali
Brahmavihara-Arama, better known by the name of Banjar Buddhist, is the largest Buddhist monastery in Bali. It lies in hilly areas in the village of Banjar District Tegeha Banjar, 22 km west of Singaraja and 11 km from Lovina tourism area. With the atmosphere is quiet and calm and can look directly into Lovina beach tourism area in Buleleng, causing the Buddhist Vihara is a strong attraction for tourists, both foreign and domestic. Broadly speaking this monastery complex consists of five important, namely:
a. Gara Uposatha
Located at the top of the West, a space that is comfortable and quiet. On the walls were carved panels birth of the Buddha, and in the middle there is a statue of the Buddha in a state of achieving "As the Buddha" (Nirvana). This room functions to the bhiku penasbihan compound (candidate bhiku), early stage to the next stage of training.
b. Dharmasala
Such classrooms are located on the east. In this place where bhiku conduct worship services, giving sermons, and also where it was used as a place to do any spiritual activity.
c. Stupa
A building that looks like a giant bell which is located at the corner of Northwest, which all sides are made of concrete with a very impressive reliefs.
d. Bodi Tree
In the southwest corner of the building there is a large tree called the tree body, which in the vicinity of the tree was decorated with reliefs. This place is a symbol of victory of the Buddha at the time he reached the Sammia the Buddha (the perfection of the eternal).
e. Kuti
Kuti is the abode of the bhiku as well as students who are studying and this place is also sometimes used as a place to exercise the bhiku.
In the complex there are several statues of Buddha Vihara which decorate every corner of the garden or room. Among them there are two statues of Buddha which is very interesting that Parinirwana sculpture and statues of Buddha as the Buddha is achieving the same or in terms of Hindu moksa
