Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest

Lokasi/Location : Tabanan, Bali

Alas Kedaton Kukuh District located in the village of Marga + 4 km from the town of Tabanan. This temple has two very interesting uniqueness. The first has four entrances into the temple that is from the west which is the other main entrance of the North, the South East and all of them are heading into a central courtyard. The uniqueness of the second is in the pages which are the holiest places precisely located lower than the middle and outer pages. The shrine is surrounded by woods inhabited by a group of monkeys are considered sacred. There also was a group of bats that live suspended in the branches of large trees and at any time flying, is a very interesting attraction for tourists both domestic tourists and foreign tourists.
Piodalan ceremony in this temple is falling on Tuesday (Anggara Love) for modern-day after Hari Raya Galungan. Which meant the ceremony begins at noon and must be completed before sunset. This temple is often also called Pura Pura Dalem Alas Kedaton or heaven.
